Overlooked is a series of art pieces inspired by minute, unnoticed events that take place everyday. Through a variety of media such as video art, photography, collage, and sculpture, Overlooked explores fragility and stability. The first piece in the series most recently exhibited in the Tampa Museum of Art. Cascade, Sway, and Washes Over are all projects that stem from Overlooked.

Overlooked, 2005, video, 8 minutes 52 seconds
collaboration with Edrex Fontanilla
Overlooked employs movement and change to explore ideas of being, structure, and stability. Overlooked allows viewers to consider these ideas independently of a human perceptual experience. Transforming time and space, visual and aural abstractions place the viewer outside the boundaries of a human perspective.
